Lindsay Fisher

Lindsay Fisher was raised in Vancouver and spent much of her childhood enjoying all the Fort Vancouver Regional Library programs. She earned degrees in Hospitality Business Management and Business Management from Washington State University in 2003. After graduation she moved to San Diego, CA and Seattle, WA with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide before returning to Vancouver in 2006 to join her family-owned and -operated business, Evergreen Memorial Gardens, where she is currently the Vice President of Administration and a licensed Funeral Director.

Her community service activities include serving on the board of the Washington Cemetery Cremation and Funeral Association from 2006-2009, and membership in the Rotary Club of Greater Clark County and the WSUV Advisory Council. She enjoys traveling, photography, and spending quality time with her friends, family, husband and two sons.

Why the Library: 
"I volunteer with the library because it brings back fond memories, and I want the same opportunities for my children. The library is a gathering place for the entire community where the adventures found in books are endless."
