Dan Clark

SVP/Regional Manager, Vancouver Market - Lewis & Clark Bank

Dan Clark has been working in small community banks for over 35 years, starting as a teller in college and working up through the ranks to a senior commercial position.  He has always enjoyed working closely with clients to provide financial solutions for their short term and future business plans.  Dan feels that smaller bank cultures provide the opportunity to develop a stronger relationship with clients, leading to a deeper understanding of their true needs and motivations, which is key to providing the right solutions.

A Clark County resident for 30 years, Dan and his wife, Donna, along with their two adult daughters, enjoys camping, attending college football games, and walking their furry four-legged children.  A Rotarian for 17 years, Dan has served as Past President and Club Foundation President and Community Service Chair, along with serving on the Executive Board of Directors for Three Rivers Land Conservancy, Parks Foundation and currently serving on the Fort Vancouver Regional Library Foundation Board.

Why the Library:
"Ensuring that the children in our community have access to books and programs is essential to their development.  When my children were growing up, we spent hours reading and going to the library as they learned and explored new worlds.  My hope is that all the children of Clark County have the opportunity to read the books that will open their minds as they become members of the community.  We have some of the best libraries in the country and that does not happen without a lot of work and dedication by staff, volunteers, and generous donors."
